About Us
We were one of the first
health care co-operatives in Saskatchewan. Besides offering care for the
whole person, we encourage and assist individuals to play a role in their
own health care by participating in health promotion programs and serving
on our Board of Directors. In addition, we speak out and act on social and
economic issues that affect health, including:
-
the effects of poverty on
health
-
support for publicly funded
health care
-
advocacy for the community
clinic model of primary health care
-
environmental issues
-
support for programs to improve
the lives of people who are most at risk, including children, youth,
Aboriginals, disabled persons and seniors
