Choose Membership
You can become a member of Community Health Services
(Saskatoon) Association Ltd., the member based co-operative association,
which owns and operates the Community Clinic. Our co-operative was
started in 1962 by a group of co-operative minded people who believed that
individuals had the right to have a say in their own health care.
Lifetime Membership*
These are the benefits you receive for life when you
become a member.
- Members can run for election to our board of
directors.
- Members can serve on committees and play an active
role in our association.
- Members can Volunteer!
- Members receive Focus newsletter mailed quarterly.
A membership costs: $15 Single $30 Family
Annual Service Fee
Each year on the
anniversary date of your membership, you will receive a notice inviting
you to pay an annual service fee. This is a fee that is reviewed yearly by
our membership at the Semi-Annual Meeting in January. Payment of the
Annual Service fee helps to support the costs of the Association and
provides a reduction on the cost of non-insured medicals.
First Year Benefits
In the first year of membership, you pay only the
lifetime membership fee. The voluntary annual service fee is waived.
You receive all benefits for $15 Single
$30 Family.
*The initial
lifetime membership fee will be waived in cases of financial hardship
