Resolution
#2 Maintaining Federal Provincial Childcare Agreements
Be
it resolved that the Board of CHSA, through its committee on Political
and Social Action take appropriate steps to provide support for existing
organizations working towards maintaining federal-provincial childcare
agreements;
And
be it further resolved that the Community Health Services (Saskatoon)
Association Ltd. urges the government of Saskatchewan to lobby the Federal
Government to stop the cancellation of the provincial-federal childcare
agreements, to institute a national childcare program, and to uphold the
level of funding committed to as part of this agreement.
