Seniors of Tomorrow Learning Opportunities
The Counselling Department offers a regular program of educational opportunities for those entering their senior years and for others who are looking for group educational opportunities to support you in maintaining a healthy lifestyle as you age.
Strengthening the Circle is dedicated to improving the health and lives of Aboriginal seniors by providing health education and social support. The group meets regularly. Staff can also assist with other health needs including serving as a liaison with community services. The Kohkums Group brochure describes this Group in greater detail.
As well, there is a wide range of topics related to seniors that are addressed in websites and publications at the federal, provincial and local levels. To learn more, go to the Seniors page of this website.
